Galvanized Sheet
Galvanized Sheet
Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet coated with a layer of zinc on the surface.
Galvanized Sheet
Characteristics
- It has good corrosion resistance. The zinc layer can form a protective film on the surface of the steel plate to prevent the steel plate from being oxidized and corroded.
- It has high strength and can withstand a certain amount of pressure and weight.
- It has good processing performance and can be used for cutting, bending, welding and other processing operations.
- The surface is smooth and has good appearance quality.
Production process
There are mainly two types: hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the steel plate in molten zinc liquid so that the zinc layer adheres to the surface of the steel plate; electro-galvanizing is to deposit zinc ions on the surface of the steel plate through electrolysis.
Application fields
- Construction field: used on roofs, walls, ventilation ducts, etc.
- Automobile manufacturing: used for automobile body, chassis and other components.
- Home appliance industry: such as refrigerators, washing machines, etc. casings.
- Industrial manufacturing: used to manufacture various containers, shelves, steel structures, etc.
Things to note when choosing
- Check the thickness of the galvanized layer. The greater the thickness, the better the corrosion resistance.
- Check the surface quality, there should be no obvious scratches, rust spots and other defects.
- Understand the qualifications and reputation of the manufacturer to ensure reliable product quality.
